Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was good...we went down to my parents house and had dinner. We were missing a few people, so it was not as great as normal. Darin and I took the kids to the Drive-in and they really enjoyed that we saw Bolt and Madagascar 2. They liked the movies and I was surprised that they stayed up for both of them. The next day Trevor slept in 'till 10:00! That is a long time for him as he is normally up at 7:00 for those who don't know him.

Kylie

Kylie is so funny...She likes to put her body in the couch and one night she did and fell asleep, so I had to get a picture of it.

Christmas Decorating

We had a fun Saturday and we got all of are Christmas decorations up. I put lights up on the front door and in the kids room windows. Kylie thinks we need them up all around outside, but Darin won't help me so I guess she won't get them. I put my new stockings and tree skirt out and they look so cute. :) We got a new nativity set that goes outside and I plugged them in and it was still light so I couldn't see if they worked. We went out tonight and when we were leaving, Darin was admiring our Christmas decorations and Mary and Joseph were not lit up, but baby Jesus was. So when we got back Darin was looking at it and he unscrewed it and there were no light bulbs in them and I thought that was funny cause there was one in Jesus. Weird that they would just put one in and not all 3, but oh well we got it fixed now Darin said Jesus was the main one anyways. The kids keep asking where the presents are and when Santa is coming, so it is a good deal I have a count down calender.

Primary Program

Today was our primary program and the kids did so good. Trevor had his part memorized and Kylie had most of hers memorized. They did not sing any of the songs for it but when we got home they where singing them. It was nice because Grandma, Bart and Granddad came to hear them and I guess the teachers and I sang a verse. So in sharing time, they read comments from the parents. Also in sharing time, they did a cute little thing where they had the elders come in as secret service and they had their glasses on. All of the kids got a pair of sunglasses. I had my camera in the car so we got pictures of all the kids.
These were all taken with my phone camera so that is why they are a little blurry.

Trevor

Trevor has quite the imagination and he loves to build tents and booby traps. He is starting to like his teacher better. Darin and Trevor made a truck on Saturday. Trevor took it with him everywhere we went that day and he even to took it in the car when we went to church. Now he wants to paint it, so maybe i will let him do that on Monday. He also likes to just sit back and relax. Not very often does he do that.

Natalie

As I said before, Natalie loves to climb and the other day I came into the kitchen and I found she had climbed into the bread box. She is little, but not little enough to fit in it. We are getting ready to start potty training her and I think she will be easy. She tells me now that she has to go potty, so I guess it is time.

Kylie's Dress

Kylie is at this funny stage where she likes to get the fabric and make a dress out of it. There are some pretty fancy one's I must say, but not the most modest. She also poses so cute and likes me to take picture of her. On Saturday, I took her to my friends beauty shop so she could look at her hair and try to fix it. She fixed it and I think it looks so cute. She looks like a little girl again.

This was a nice week. Darin had Monday and Tuesday off. So on Monday, I went to St. George with my mom, Bart, Kylie, and Natalie and it was fun. We did not get back 'till midnight. On Tuesday, I took the kids to see Angie. We stayed for a while and Darin worked on his arcade machine and it is almost done. I finally finished our Christmas stocking and tree skirt. I think they turned out cute for my first time sewing a project.

Julie Wedding

Julie is getting married and it will be so nice to have a new brother-in-law to add to the family. The BIG day is December 19th in the St. George Temple. The bad part is that they won't live here. But they will still be close for visits. I got to go up and look at dresses with her and my mom and that was fun. We had a good time and got a lot of the decorations bought. She has some pretty colors pick out.

Rock Band

We had Darin's friends family over for dinner and we played Rock Band. We had a good time as you can see. The younger kids played well together.

Peace

Too many errands in one day will wear kids out and this is what happens when you do. You get some peace and quite for a little bit and you can get some stuff done. However, I love them even more when they are awake.

Stockings

I have been making Christmas stockings and they are turning out good. My mom helped me with the pattern. They are time consuming, but i have just one more to go. Natalie was helping one day and she got tired. She didn't think it was too fun.

Halloween

We had a great Halloween. On Thursday, we went to Chris and Patti's Trunk or Treat. The kids got alot of candy and I think they really enjoyed themselves. Then on Friday, we had a primary activity and they played games and got even more candy. Then after that we drove up to Warm Springs and met up with Julie and McKae and we stayed the night, so that was fun. Darin could not stay which was too bad. We had a lot of fun. On Saturday morning we went swimming again and then my dad took us on a nature walk and that was interesting. He just pointed out all the eagle scout project that had been done. Then we played Curses and that was hilarious. We got dad and Bart to play and they were funny to watch. McKae won and he had the hardest Curses of all. It was definitely entertaining to say the least.
