Polar Express

On November 20, we went to the polar express with my mom, grandma, and Julie. It was so much fun! We all had matching pj's that my mom made for us and we looked so cute...well the kids looked so cute. We took the longest way home I think, because some how we ended up in San Bernadino, CA. But we still had a good trip back.

Trevor is so funny. The other week he was in my room and he got the phone so I picked it up downstairs to see who he was calling. The lady said this is Saturn of West Sahara and I told her sorry and for Trevor to hang up the phone. He was in Darins' closet and got the number off of one of his shirts and was wanting to talk to him. He likes to talk on the phone so if you get a call just tell him HI. Some of you might have got them already. Also, last week he got a blank DVD and wrote the name of a game he want to play on it and then put it in the Wii, but of course that did not work. So then he wrote it on another DVD and tried it but it still did not work I told him it is not that easy, but I wish it was. He is just too funny for me.

We had a good quiet Thanksgiving at my moms house. It was just Justin, Fiola and us. We had a good time. Toots and Mckae showed up later and we visited with them. On Friday, Mom and I got up early and went to Walmart. It was packed and we only got a few things. Then later that day, I went shopping with my friend for 7.5 hrs. We had fun and I almost got all the Christmas shopping done. Darin likes to order everything online, but I like the stores. We got our tree up and decorated it and the kids had fun helping.

The credit union Darin works for just got acquired by a new company, so we might be moving to Plano, TX. I will be very sad to leave all of our families. But it will be nice if we do go, because then we might be able to see Brian and Afton and the kids once in a while. And hopefully Sean's family will be going also, so we might have a friend when we move there. That will be nice.

Blessing

Halloween/ Blessing

We had a good weekend. The kids went to the trunk or treat on Friday. They looked so cute! Trevor was Fire Mario, Kylie, Natalie, and Daysie were 50's girls and they wore poodle skirts. My mom made them and she also made me one so I wore it to the trunk or treat and everybody thought it was so cute. Then Halloween night, we went up to Warm Springs and swam. The kids had fun swimming. Darin and I did not get in I still have 2 weeks before i can soak in water. :( and Darin was not feeling well. We had a good time as always. Then Sunday was a special day for Daysie because we blessed her. She looked so beautiful. My mom made her dress and a blanket. Then we had a nice luncheon at my sisters house and the food was good. I made my favorite: cheese potatoes, ham, rolls, and lots of desserts. We almost had all the family there, but we missed those that were not there. On Friday night before the Trunk or Treat, we went and visited with Chris and Patty. Trevor and Dallin were in the front playing and the neighbor came home with their dog and it jumped up on Trevor and knocked his front tooth out. So now he is missing his front tooth and he looks so funny with it gone. It is a good deal we have dentist in the family. Trevor's granddad said it looks good and it will grow in good.

Pictures of kids

Daysie Davis

So I am a little slow on posting about Daysie so here are some pictures. For those of you who don't know, she was born on September 28 @ 8:03 am and she weighed 7.9 and was 19 in. She is a good little baby and she is getting so big. The kids just love her and especially Trevor. He did not want another sister, but he loves her and he wants to hold her all the time. She is going to be sharing a room with Trevor, but she has been sleeping in our room for now. Trevor keeps asking when she is going to sleep in her bed. Today was the first Sunday and she looked so pretty. A few people were surprised we were at church so soon.

We signed Kylie up for a cheer leading fundraiser and she had fun going to it. They got to perform at Centennial's football game. She looked so cute standing out there. She still loves going to school! The other day, there was no school and she came in and asked if she could go. I told her nobody was there and she said my teacher is, so can I go? I think she gets that from the Davis side cause I know it's not from me.

Here are some pictures from my family reunion back in July. My mom made the kids these cute outfits for the Rodeo.

Trevor is doing good in school. He would rather stay home and play games, but he likes going to visit with his friend.

Natalie loves being the only one home with me and Daysie. Natalie is a lot of fun and a big help to me.

Kylie Birthday

Today was Kylie's 5th birthday. She had a good day. We had a party and she got a lot of cool things from her Aunt's and Uncle's. Darin made her an awesome cake! It was a rainbow cake so it had 6 layers to it. It was really good. She is loving school still and it is easy to get her to do her homework. As soon as she comes home, she wants to do it. It is nice that I don't have to bug her about it. I know she is not my girl. She is 100% Davis.

Trevor learned to ride his bike the other day without training wheels. He does awesome! In one day he could do it all by himself and he was so happy. Kylie is also learning how to, but it is hard for me to help her right now. So after the baby and the weather cools down some, I can help her more.

Natalie loves being the only one home in the mornings. We have fun and we go window shopping alot for now. She is still climbing everything, even if she shouldn't, be she does. I just keep hoping for no big injuries.

We got the crib up and almost ready, but we just need our mattress. She is sharing a room with Trevor, so he is not to happy about that because he wanted a brother. So I decided to do the theme for their room in Toy Story. I know it's not much of a girl theme, but I thought Trevor would be happier if it was something he liked. He has been wanting a Toy Story room for the past 4 years and he finally got it.

We had our ward campout this last weekend and Darin kept the kids and I found a ride home. It was nice to go up to the cooler weather for a while. Trevor was funny. After dinner he was complaining about his stomach and so I was going to bring him home with me. But he want some marshmallows and I told him, "No" because his stomach was hurting. So this guy gave him a graham cracker and told him it would make it feel better. After two bites, he said his stomach didn't hurt anymore, so he stayed the night and got some marshmallows. Right after we got there, Kylie wanted to go to bed. She is so funny because she thinks the best part about camping is getting her pj's on. We made her stay up for a little while and she had fun. Natalie got to sleep in the hammock with Darin and the other 2 slept in his little tent. They had a great time! I spent the night at my mom and dad's so I could get some stuff done down there.

First week of School

Well summer is over and I have to get up early again which is not my most favorite thing. The first week of school went good. Kylie loves her teacher and loves going to school. On the 2nd day of school she woke up at 6:30 saying she was ready to go to school. I told her to go back to bed and that it was too early for school. I signed Kylie up for the afternoon class but then I found out they don't do the bus for afternoon kindergartner's, so I switched her to the morning. I am so glad I did or I would have to hear all morning long "when am I going!" Trevor likes his teacher, but he doesn't know anybody in his class yet. He likes taking his lunch in his Buzz lunch box we bought for him. Natalie likes being the only kid home and her and I have a lot of fun. For the next few weeks I should say, 'cause then Daysie will be here and I don't know how Natalie will handle it.

My sister moved and she is in our Ward and the kids and I love it, because their new house has a pool. Everyday after school they think we need to go swimming. We have been quite abit but I guess we better before I have the baby and the weather gets too cold and we can't. It is also nice to have someone to talk to at church. The first week they were there, we sat next to each other and were talking after church. Our Relief Society counselor was talking to someone in the ward and said they had never seen me talk so much.

I guess I truly do have a monkey on my hands. I call Natalie monkey all the time. One Sunday before Church she shows me how she can climb the wall. It is very impressive she can, because she is so little. She is 3 and weighs about 24 lbs. I think we need to put her in gymnastics.

Provo

Darin does not like a lot of slide shows, but I think when you have an action packed weekend, you need one. That way you can put more pictures up without scrolling down the whole page. This last weekend we went up to Provo and hung out with Darin's family. We had a lot of fun. Darin took Kylie and Trevor to Seven Peaks. While Darin and the kids were at the water park, Natalie and I went shopping with Nicole and Krist. We had a good time. Then that night, we went to Darin's brothers house for Dallin's birthday party and played games. Then Saturday morning, Darin, Daniel, Steve, and Sam went on a hike. Nicole and I stayed home with the kids while they watched movies and of course colored. On our way home, we stopped in St. George at a cool place for kids to play that has a bunch of jumpers. This gave them a nice break from being in the car and allowed them to waste some energy. It was so nice that Darin's work decided not to give him this week off, so we could take a family vacation. This way I am not home by myself. I love having Darin here with us. We also went and got a fish, so we will see how long it lasts. I am not too excited about cleaning the tank.

Fun photos

4th of July

The kids and I had a great weekend! We went up to Oregon for a family reunion. It was great because on Friday we went to the Discovery Museum with Brian, Afton and their kids, Laura and her kids, and my mom. Later that night we went to my cousins house and hung out. The kids went swimming, but the water was way cold. Then Saturday we went to a Church breakfast. After that, we went to my Aunt's house and the kids had a blast! They had a big water slide bouncer and we had lots of food. Then that night we went to a Rodeo and the kids enjoyed it. Kylie liked the barrel racing because it is girls that ride the horses. We were a little disappointed that we did not get to see fireworks after the rodeo. Then on Sunday we went to my Dad's old ward growing up. After church, the kids and I went to Laura's in-laws and hung out for awhile and the kids had a lot of fun. Especially Trevor, because he was not the only boy. Then on Monday we had a long drive home. The kids are glad to be out of the car! I left my camera for Darin so he could take picture of his great weekend. He and Reid had a good time by themselves. I don't think they missed their wives or kids a whole lot. :) Darin, on Thursday night had a Rock Band party. Friday He and Reid went and played Frisbee golf and then went cliff jumping. Then on Saturday they went up to Zion's and hiked around the Narrows, and some other places. They stayed the night up there and then on Sunday they went to Bryce Canyon. But the bad thing is that Darin forgot the camera so he does not have any pictures of his great weekend. I have a few pictures but I have to get them from Afton so I can only post a few right now until then.

Fathers Day

For Fathers Day on Saturday, we went down to my parents house and had a BBQ and played games. We had a lot of fun. On Sunday we slept in and it was so nice. After Church we gave Darin his gifts. I am such a good wrapper; I got pillow cases and put his gifts in them. He got a jig saw, pringles, a pair of shorts and some new hiking shoes. I think he liked them. Then we went over to his dad's house to visit with him. We had a good time there. The kids were excited to go and see their cousins that they don't get to see very often.

Natalie's Party

We had a nice party for Natalie. We went to her Granddad's house and we had a pot luck and we also had a bouncer, snow cones, and a cotton candy machine. The weather was nice and it was not too hot for the middle of June, so we were able to eat outside. Almost all of her cousins were there. She got alot of cute stuff. She is a funny girl. On her actual birthday my mom took us to lunch and Natalie got to pick were she wanted to go either Peter Piper Pizza or Burger King. She chose BK because she Loves Mac and Cheese so we went there. Trevor kept trying to convince her to go to PPP. After lunch, then we went up to Darin's cousins cabin at Mt. Charleston and we had a lot of fun. The kids just got to play and get all dirty we had a BBQ that night up there and it was even nice that Darin got to join us.

Trevor's Kindergarten program

Trevor had his program the other day it was so cute. They sang Beatle's songs. But of course, Trevor is looking all around and picking his nose, but he did sing the songs which I was surprised about. He loves to sing! The teachers made the kids these awesome shirts. It has a picture of their class on it. I took a video of it, so I will have to see if can put it up, but here are some pictures.

Memorial Day

We had a good memorial day weekend. We went camping with Darin's friends family near Panguitch. It was fun as they had some 4 wheelers that the kids got to ride on. Darin and I went on a ride, but it probably was not a good idea for me, however it was fun while we were on it. My stomach was sore a few days after it. We went to Bryce Canyon and attempted a hike. Kylie cried the whole time so her and I stopped. Then on the way back we drove through Zion's. The kids like the tunnel. Julie and Mckae met us at the exit and Darin and Mckae went on a good hike up to Angel's Landing while the kids, Julie and I went to her house and watched movies, petted the horses, and looked at the cow.

It's a Girl... We are so happy! Trevor is not as happy as we are, but he will get over it soon I hope. She is right on schedule of where she is supposed to be. Kylie thinks we need to name her Flower or Sparkle. I like the name of Clara, Carley, or Daisy. I don't think Darin will go for that one.

Friday, May 8, 2009

Well I have had a good month in April with my vacations. My last trip was that I got to go up to Woman's Conference with my 2 sister-in-laws and we had a great time. It is so nice to get a break. Darin is so good that he takes Thursday and Friday off so he can stay home with the kids and I think they enjoy it. While I was up in Utah my niece had her baby shower so it was fun to go to that.

Easter Sunday

The kids had fun finding the easter eggs. I think they ate all the candy before we even left for church! They looked so cute in their Sunday outfits. Trevor was not very happy as you can tell.

Spring Break

The kids and I went up to Utah with my sister- in-law and her son. We had a great time! We went to the zoo with the kids, aunts, and cousins. We went to Ikea which I had never been to before and it was a cool store. They have babysitting for 1 hour, so the kids got to play in there, but Natalie was too little, so we had to keep her with us. After that, we got to go see Devin play soccer but it was cold so we did not stay very long. I think the kids had fun watching him. Kylie thinks she wants to play. So we will see. Then on Thursday, we went to the Legacy Center and went swimming and it was blast. Nicole and Krista went with me and the kids. They have a big green slide the kids like so go on, but it was not open 'till the end so they only got to go 2 times. Then that night we had a girls night out and we went to dinner. Patty and Sherri went shopping while Krista, Nicole and I went to Krista's shop and she cut my hair. I love it. It is short and I don't have to do much to get it ready. Friday, Steve had the day off so we got to hang out with him. It was nice to see him and he went with us the the museums. The kids loved going and they were interesting. We were lucky that the weather was not too bad. On our way home we stopped in Hurricane and met with Julie and MaKae and had lunch with them. We had a great easter we stayed home and I made dinner. Later that night Darin's friend and girlfriend came over and we played Monopoly with them. Then Monday it was back to school for Trevor and off vacation for me.

TV

Well, we finally got our TV fixed and Darin and I watched our first movie on it last week. It was great! So we have watched a few more it is like we are at the theater. Darin and I celebrated our 8 year anniversary last week. Time goes by so fast and it does not seem that long ago we were engaged. Other than that, not much is going on in our lives. The kids and I are probably going to Provo for spring break.

Camping

FUN weekend

The kids and I have had 2 fun weekends. The first weekend we went camping with my Mom, sister, and grandma. We went up to Red Cliffs in Leeds and it was nice. Julie and Mckae showed up and hung out with us for the night. Then Julie had to go take her test for her beautician license. She passed so now she is all official. On Saturday we went to Mckae's family ranch and surprised Julie with a dutch oven lunch. The kids had a fun time they got to ride on a four wheeler and pet the cows.

The 2nd weekend was lots of fun we went to Disneyland. We left Friday night and stayed at Darin's brothers lake house. Then we went to the outlet mall in Barstow. Then we went to the beach the water was cold but the kids had fun walking by it Kylie fell in and got all wet which she did not like. We are going to have to go back when the water is warmer so the kids can have fun in the water. Then we went to the Science Museum and it was cool. However, I think ours is better and has more for the kids. Then we finally made it to Disneyland and Natalie was just tall enough to go on Matterhorn. She was funny to watch because she has no emotions. She would not cry or laugh but when you ask her if she liked it she would say yah. Kylie LOVED all the rides and I think she liked Splash Mountain, and Tower of Terror the most. Trevor would say he doesn't like the rides, but the next day he would say lets go on this ride. The 2nd day we were there, Natalie was sick so I stayed with her in the room and Darin took Kylie and Trevor over to the California side. They had a lot of fun over there. Natalie started to feel better by afternoon so her and I took our LONG walk to Disneyland. Trevor wanted to be a Jedi from Star Wars and the first time we were there he was not picked he was so disappointed, so we told him we would go back and try again. So the 2nd time we went back they picked him I have never seen that boy so HAPPY! He was smiling from ear to ear. The first night we were there at about 12:30- 1:00 am i hear this knock on the door and it scared the heck out of me so I call the front desk but they didn't answer. So I woke Darin up and told him someone is knocking on the door so he went and looked out the peep hole and there was someone in our car. So then they knock on the door again and Darin answers the door it was the front desk saying we had left the door open. I was scared because we left the GPS in it and so I made him go out and see if it was still there and it was. I was very happy. So I guess we were in a good area being that no one stole anything. Well I think this is a record for me for the longest post.

Tuesday, February 24, 2009

Kylie wanted to go camping on Friday night because Darin was supposed to have a camp out with the scouts, but ended up not going. So when he got home, he setup the tent for the kids in the living room and they slept in it that night. They thought that was so cool. They got out there blow up bed and blanket like they were camping. We got our TV back and set it up and it looks pretty good in there on the new stand. Now we just need to get rid of the old stand. My friend is hopefully going to take our old TV.

Valentine's Day

We had a good Valentine's Day. We went out the night before so there wouldn't be as many people or as long of a wait. We went to this new place and it was good. On Saturday, Darin did a lot of little odd and ends that was nice to get them done. On Monday, we went to Valley of Fire to hook up with Darin's friend but never found them, so we went to Logandale and visited with his Uncle Harris. It was a lot of fun and the kids played at the school and got to ride the four wheelers.

I was doing laundry one day and as I was switching the load, Natalie thought she needed to get in the dryer and she looked so cute that I had to take a picture.
